TGE SG Directory 2026
Tower Grove East & South Grand Community Directory | 2026 35 MONTHLY TRIM AND TRASH CLEANUP Every second Saturday of the month TGE residents can get their get their hands dirty (although we do provide gloves!). That’s when a group of residents goes out to clean our neighborhood streets and care for our trees in the tree lawn (the space between the roadway and the sidewalk). From November through February we prune and from March through October we mulch and water our young trees. We receive help from St. Louis Neighborhood Foresters, the city of St. Louis Forestry Division and training from local certified arborists. All tools and gloves are supplied, but you are welcome to bring your own. If pruning is not your thing, we also pick up trash along the way and have trash pickers and bags available. VOLUNTEERS TO CARE FOR PUBLIC PLANTING AREAS There are several spots throughout the neighborhood that could use some help to look better. The Beautification Committee has a budget for plants and soil amendments. If you care for roundabout barriers, planted containers or islands, please let me know and tell me if you want any assistance. If you have any questions about any of these programs or if you have other ideas to help improve our neighborhood, please let me know. I am very excited about the opportunities that exist to make Tower Grove East a premier neighborhood! Tower Grove Neighborhood Association is here to help. Won’t you? Please contact me, Anne G. Moore, Beautification Chair, at florascapes@sbcglobal.net . Come Worship With Us!
