APPLY TODAY! YARD WASTE STICKERS The City of University City is pleased to announce that, effective March 11, 2025, residents are no longer required to purchase yard waste stickers for yard waste collection. This change follows the passage of a new ordinance by the City Council at its meeting on March 10, 2025. The removal of the yard waste sticker requirement is part of the City’s ongoing efforts to streamline waste collection services and reduce costs for residents. Residents can continue to place yard waste at the curb in accordance with existing collection guidelines. BULK ITEM COLLECTION This service allows residents to dispose of large furniture and appliances that are not accepted during regularly scheduled weekly collections. Bulk item collection occurs twice per year for every neighborhood, once in the spring and once in the fall. Bulk items are collected based on whether your address is in the east, west or central areas. Acceptable bulk items are collected by City staff at the front curb only. Please do not dump items in alleys, streets or yards. TELEVISIONS AND COMPUTERS ARE NO LONGER ACCEPTED.
