16 2026 | Tower Grove East & South Grand Community Directory About the Tower Grove East Neighborhood Association Founded in 1965, the Tower Grove East Neighborhood Association (TGENA) is an all-volunteer, nonprofit organization focused on engaging Tower Grove East residents with each other and fostering a community that is warm and welcoming, where people thrive and local businesses, schools and faith centers serve as anchors. Located in the heart of St. Louis City, TGE is surrounded by beloved attractions like Tower Grove Park and the South Grand Business District. The boundaries of our wedge-shaped neighborhood are Grand Boulevard on the west, Shenandoah Avenue on the north, Nebraska Avenue on the east, and Gravois Avenue on the south/southwest. MISSION To achieve an outstanding urban neighborhood characterized by a diverse population, unified in an atmosphere of trust, respect and friendship. TGENA has always been one of the strongest neighborhood associations in the city of St. Louis. Our residents have led the way in all aspects of neighborhood redevelopment in St. Louis. Our strength comes from broad-based resident involvement. TGENA provides leadership and support for all neighborhood development efforts. We encourage all residents to become members. We want your voice to be heard as we plan our future together! GET INVOLVED! TGENA holds a general membership meeting monthly (except December) on the fourth Tuesday of each month at 7 pm in Stray Dog Theatre, 2336 Tennessee St. All neighbors and guests are welcome! Join us afterward for a happy hour with drinks provided!  Meetings include: • Monthly updates from our alderperson and city police officer • TGENA president and committee reports • Guest speakers on key topics (e.g., mayoral forums, Q&A with police representative, legislative updates) Interested in joining the TGENA board or serving on a committee?
