SoHa Directory 2026

4 2026 | SOHA Community Directory Welcome to Southampton! If you are new to the Southampton neighborhood, welcome! If you are an established resident, thank you for continuing to be part of our community! Your investment and commitment as a resident help make us a stronger, safer neighborhood. Is there a reason people want to call Southampton home? Could it be the architectural charm of each home? The mature tree-lined streets? Its walkability and easy access to the many restaurants, libraries, parks and shops? Or perhaps the sense of community and friendly neighbors? Yes, it’s all of the above. In 1902, the local newspapers, including the German papers, deemed the neighborhood as the “King of All Subdivisions.” It was promoted as a naturally beautiful and healthy location, inexpensive, and a wonderful opportunity for investment for those looking for housing in a market that had a limited supply of new, single-family homes. Move forward 120 years and Southampton continues to be a very desirable place to call home. From first-time home buyers to those who reside in the same neighborhood as their parents and grandparents, the tradition of calling SOHA home continues. Southampton Neighborhood Association continues to build and maintain a sense of community with annual yard sales, Macklind Days, Light-Up SOHA, trivia nights, forums, and bi-monthly meetings. You also see this sense of community every day while jogging, riding your bike, or just walking your dog. People take pride in their neighborhood by caring for their property and watching out for their neighbors. We welcome you to join our association and get involved with our wonderful volunteers that support our mission of building strong relationships, advocating for local legislation, supporting our residents and businesses, educating the community and of course enjoying our wonderful neighborhood to the fullest!
