SoHa Directory 2026
28 2026 | SOHA Community Directory Century Homes Southampton is characterized primarily by masonry houses built with intricate brickwork and limestone details. These homes date from the early 20th century through the 1930s. Stained glass and art glass windows are usually found flanking fireplaces, on second story landings and even in bathrooms. The building styles include Arts and Crafts bungalows and Gingerbread English Cottages, all featuring fancy stonework. Each house has its own, unique detail. Well-maintained brick and stone homes can last 200 years or more. These great buildings define Southampton. The fine construction and attention to detail of these houses needs to recognized. To celebrate the history and longevity of your unique home, the Southampton Neighborhood Association has created the Southampton Century Home plaque. This piece of exterior decor highlights your home within the broader neighborhood context. This custom plaque includes the year your home was built according to city property records. The plaques are 12” by 12” aluminum and have 4 predrilled holes. Personal delivery is made in the Southampton neighborhood, and we will mail to addresses outside of Southampton at an additional cost. Hanging instructions are included. Plaques are available for purchase at a discount for SNA members through the SNA website at southamptonstl.org or use the QR code below. They make great gifts! Sale proceeds fund neighborhood activities and projects. WE’RE SOCIAL.
